On The Border Kicks off Its Third Annual Fiesta for the Cure(TM) in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R)

DALLAS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina® today announced the launch of its third annual Fiesta for the Cure(TM) campaign in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. In October, On The Border restaurants across the country will "go pink" in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and are encouraging guests to do the same. Since its inception in 2007, Fiesta for the Cure has raised over $500,000 for Komen for the Cure.

During the month-long promotion, On The Border guests will have two opportunities to contribute to the fight against breast cancer:

-- Purchase a Fiesta for the Cure steel cuff bracelet for only $5, of which
$3 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

-- Donate by simply adding any amount to their guest check.

Those who give will also have the chance to get. Every donation earns its dining party a scratch-off game card. Potential prizes include: a catered On The Border party, free queso, free sopapillas and a free Dip Trio appetizer.

"I'm proud of the efforts and money raised by our team members and guests in the past, and this year we're aiming even higher. We want this to be the best Fiesta yet," said Patrick Droesch, regional vice president of operations for On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. "This is such an important cause, and when our guests and team members work together in our restaurants, we can make an impact."

"Susan G. Komen for the Cure is grateful for On The Border's continued support," said Katrina McGhee, vice president of global partnerships. "Fiesta for the Cure is a great way to engage consumers in our promise to end breast cancer forever and with the funds raised, we'll be one step closer to fulfilling that promise."
